Michele Plachter Design’s home base is in Philadelphia, and it’s rapidly expanding in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach Markets.

Founder
Michele is driven by bringing her clients’ dreams to life. With an entrepreneurial spirit, a discerning eye, and a quest to bring more beauty into the world, Michele channeled her natural talents into interior design two decades ago and has never looked back.
Purposeful and conscientious, Michele works directly in all client projects and strategically grows her team with the best and brightest talent in design. She has an ability to decipher her client’s personalities into an external environment, and her work has generated awards in customer service and design.
Sarah Connors
Senior Designer
With a magnificent eye for details, Sarah heightens all MPD projects through deliberate choices in subtleties. Whether it’s trims, hardware or custom built-ins, Sarah understands how to weave a home’s elements together to create a breathtaking space. She’s worked in interior design for over a decade and particular adores MPD’s project Spruce Estate.
Diane Begg
Senior Project Manager
We lovingly refer to Diane as the “Mary Poppins of MPD” because of her magical ability to keep the firm organized. Diane studied finance before returning to school for interior design and architecture, and she has merged her talents in each by working at MPD. She’s proud to work on a team that helps create a “wow” factor through bold choices, and her favorite project is The Laurel Rittenhouse.
Kasey Helmick
Financial & Project Manager
Kasey brings an irreplaceable set of skills to our interior design firm: specializing in project management and account software. With a sharp mind for organization, Kasey holds a B.Sc. in interior design. Melding both the right and left sides of her brain, interior design is the perfect embodiment of Kasey’s skills and passions. Although she had a hard time deciding, Kasey's favorite projects are the Olde City Loft and Philadelphia Classic.
